Open daily including all public holidays from 9:30am – 3:30pm with last admission at 2:30pm.

Bathrooms are available for your convenience on both Ground Floor and Level One of the Aquarium

Located in Cairns City at 5 Florence St, 1 block from the Cairns Esplanade and within walking distance of most major hotels. 3 hour free on street parking is available close to the attraction, in addition to metered spaces with a drop off zone and disabled car parks near the main entrance. Public bus terminal is located one block away on Lake St.

We are a fully accessible facility with elevators, ramps, accessible bathrooms and welcome accredited Guide/Service Dogs. Wheelchairs are available, please ask on arrival.

We love it when guests share their photos of their experience and to facilitate that, free WiFi is available throughout the building.

We offer a number of services to ensure that your visit is convenient, including small rental lockers, toilets with change tables and water fountains.

Our unique gift store offers a vast range of Cairns Aquarium branded apparel, homewares, stationary, toys, and handcrafted goods sourced locally by suppliers who support our conservation efforts.
